The Ring Fling™ was conceived by accident. Initially, we tried to come up with a unique flying disk made of leather called the “Leather-Bee.” After playing around with that idea for a while, we realized that the Leather-Bee, by itself, was too one-dimensional. Following a lot of experimental work and play, we ended up with a hybrid game, combining the best features of similar games and adding some of our own. Many different materials, sizes and shapes were tried before the right ring was picked. The posts were varied in size and height, as well as the distance between them, until the best playing conditions were achieved. We received invaluable input and suggestions from friends and family, several of which were implemented. After putting all the pieces of information together, we ended up with the Ring Fling™ that many are enjoying today.
